3. Intellectual Property Rights
As a web development agency, we respect intellectual property rights and expect our clients to do the same:
- All content on our website including logos, graphics, and copy is the property of hrztech and protected by Malaysian and international copyright laws

- You retain ownership of your content (text, images, logos) that you provide to us

4. Client Projects and Deliverables
For web development projects, the ownership and terms are as follows:
- Upon full payment of all invoices, you will own the final website or digital product specifically created for you
- hrztech retains ownership of all pre-existing code, components, frameworks, and development tools used to create your website
- We reserve the right to include your project in our portfolio and case studies unless specifically prohibited by a signed confidentiality agreement
- Any third-party elements (plugins, themes, stock photos) are subject to their respective licenses
- Ongoing support and maintenance are not included unless specified in your service agreement
5. Payment Terms
Our payment terms for web development services are as follows:
- All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) unless otherwise specified
- A non-refundable deposit (typically 50%) is required to commence work
- Final payment is due upon project completion and before website launch or handover
- For larger projects, we may establish milestone payments as outlined in your proposal
- Late payments may incur a fee of 1.5% per month on outstanding balances
- Additional work outside the original scope will be quoted separately
6. Limitation of Liability
As a web development agency providing professional services:
hrztech will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of our Services or any delays or failures in performance. Our total liability for any claim arising from our Services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific project or service giving rise to such claim.
We do not guarantee that your website will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that any defects will be corrected. We are not responsible for any loss of data, content, or profits resulting from your use of the website we create for you after handover.
7. Project Cancellation
If you choose to cancel a project after work has begun:
- The initial deposit is non-refundable
- You will be invoiced for any work completed up to the date of cancellation
- All rights to designs and code created up to that point remain with hrztech until final payment
- We reserve the right to cancel a project if you breach these Terms, with no refund of payments made
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time at our sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately when posted on our website. Your continued use of our Services or ongoing project work following any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
